DSCB has different plants requiring continuous innovation.
When we decided to introduce the dry coloring technology in our facility, Bluengineering was able to deliver a mechanical and automation solution, ensuring the interaction with a single reference point throughout the process. The result was a huge success.
KERION Ceramics always worked with its suppliers to design and develop its plants.
In 2009, with Bluengineering srl we designed, installed and put into operation a plant including dry coloring of spray dried ceramics.
The plant immediately and efficiently started production and it’s still operating, maintaining good dispensing accuracy.
We’re very satisfied with this partnership, and we wish to take it forward over time.
To guarantee the flexibility and performance of our machines, we had to insert heavy mechatronics in our machines.
Bluengineering was by our side in such process, with its design team, creating a hardware and software automation platform capable of meeting all the needs of our machines.
Slip coloring is one of the most critical processes in the production of porcelain stoneware. In our old facility, we dealt with repeatability issue, since we always had to adjust formulas to ensure the product quality. With Bluengineering we developed a tinting system capable of ensuring repeatability and further improve the quality of our mixtures.
